How automatic record capture works
What Brolly captures, how often it checks, and why deleted posts are still kept in your compliant archive.
Brolly continuously monitors every connected social media account and stores a time-stamped, tamper-evident copy of each record — including edits and deletions.
What gets captured
- Posts, comments and replies, with their media and reactions.
- Edits — both the original and the changed version are kept.
- Deletions — the record is retained in Brolly even after it's removed from the platform.
- Direct messages, on accounts where message capture is enabled (shown in the Messages column under Settings → Accounts).
Where records appear

Everything Brolly captures lands in your Feed, newest first. Each record shows when it was captured, the account it came from, and the action (created, edited, deleted). The Dashboard tracks your totals and capture activity over time.
How often
Connected accounts are checked continuously; most records appear in your Feed within minutes. High-volume accounts may see a short delay during peak periods.
