Connecting an X (Twitter) account

Brolly captures your X (formerly Twitter) account's posts and replies — including content that's later edited or deleted — from the moment it's connected.

Before you start

• You need the sign-in credentials for the X account itself (or admin access via your organisation's account arrangement).

Connect the account

• Go to Settings → Accounts and click Add accounts.
• Select a group, then choose X (Twitter).
• Sign in with the X account and approve the access request — Brolly's access is read-only; it never posts on your behalf.

Afterwards

The account appears under Settings → Accounts with status Active, and records land in your Feed. X's third-party access rules have shifted over the years — if you notice anything unusual about your X capture, email support@brolly.com.au and we'll check it from our side.
