You've been invited to a group

What the invitation email means, how to accept it, and what you'll see once you're in Brolly.

Received an invitation to a Brolly group? Welcome aboard. Brolly captures and securely archives your organisation's social media conversations in the background, while you get on with engaging your community. Groups are how organisations with multiple teams keep access tidy — you've been given access to the accounts your team is responsible for, and only those.

What the invitation means

Someone in your organisation (an Owner, or your group's owner) has invited you into a specific group. Your invitation shows as Pending in their user list until you accept, so it's worth acting on it promptly.

Accepting the invitation

  • Open the invitation email from Brolly and follow its link.
  • Follow the prompts to set up your login and sign in.
  • If your organisation has two-factor authentication enabled, you'll also be asked for a verification code when you log in.

If the link has expired or doesn't work, ask the person who invited you to re-send the invitation, or contact support@brolly.com.au.

What you'll see

What appears in Brolly depends on your role — see roles in Brolly groups:

  • Your Feed and Messages show records captured from the social media accounts connected to your group — not accounts belonging to other groups.
  • If you're a Group owner, you can manage your group: connect social media accounts you have platform access to, and invite or manage team members in your group.
  • If you're View only, you can browse and search your group's records but can't change accounts or users.

That's it — Brolly does the capturing automatically from here.
