I can't connect a Facebook page I just created

Brand-new Facebook pages can take a little while before Facebook lets third-party tools like Brolly connect — check your admin role, give it time, then try again.

Created a new Facebook page for your organisation but can't see it when you try to connect it to Brolly? This is common with brand-new pages: Facebook can take a little while before it makes a new page available to third-party tools. It's a Facebook-side delay, not a problem with your Brolly account.

First, check the basics

  • Confirm your admin role. You must be an admin (or editor) of the page, and you need to sign in with the Facebook account that manages it. If the page was created under a different profile, that's the account to connect with.
  • Sign in to Facebook first. Being logged in to the right Facebook account before you start makes the connection flow smoother.
  • Check you're picking the right page. If your account manages several pages, make sure the new one isn't simply further down the list.

Then, give it a little time and retry

If the page still isn't offered during the connection flow:

Still stuck?

Email support@brolly.com.au with the page name and when you created it, and we'll help you get it connected. Once it connects, capture starts straight away.
