Brolly is updated several times a week. This page lists the releases you will notice — new features, changed behaviour and fixes to things you use — newest first. If you used the previous Brolly, What's New in Brolly is a side-by-side tour of what moved where.

Latest

Alerts activity filters properly; Exports reads the way the service works

  • Alerts → Activity: choosing an alert in the All alerts filter, or arriving from a rule's Triggers count on Configuration, now shows that alert's name in the filter and returns its triggers instead of "Couldn't load history". Oldest first orders the log. Saving Modify alert after changing only keywords or channels keeps the rest of the rule intact
  • Exports → Files: the pipeline's five statuses collapse into one In progress pill that names the stage ("Rendering · 40%"). Expired exports are labelled Expired rather than Cancelled, with the date they expired and Newest / Oldest ordering on the Expired tab. The Records and Format column sorts now reorder the list. Cancel is offered only while an export is still queued, and an export that matched no records offers no download
  • Every page draws its own loading skeleton in its own shape, with tables keeping their real headings and column widths while rows fill in, instead of a generic table flashing on every hard load
  • A cold load whose profile request failed no longer rebuilds the app on every retry, which was the flicker that showed "Access denied" on Settings and bounced Insights to its landing page
  • Insights → Topics: a topic is now identified by its cluster rather than its label, so two topics that share a name are two rows with their own figures and timeline tracks. A Topic group opened in the inspector lists its posts

Alerts and Exports become two pages each; old record links keep working

  • Alerts splits into Configuration and Activity. The trigger log opens a record in the inspector without leaving the page, a rule's trigger count links into the log, and an alert can watch specific channels rather than all of them
  • Exports splits into Files and Schedules. Old links to either page, tab included, redirect to where that tab went
  • Links to a record made by the previous Brolly, the /feed/{recordId}/version/{versionId} address baked into every PDF and HTML export, into the reference URL Content Manager stores in your EDRMS and into alert emails, now open the Archive with that record's inspector already open
  • Insights → Topics: the Explorer table becomes a Topic groups table, and a row of the topic map opens the Topic Inspector or drills into its theme

Single sign-on; a Topic map; one look for buttons, drawers and focus

  • Single sign-on. The sign-in page asks for your email first and, for an organisation using SSO, sends you to your identity provider instead of asking for a password. An Owner sets the provider up under Settings → Organisation from presets for Microsoft, Google, Okta and Auth0 or a custom OpenID Connect or SAML provider. Invitations into such an organisation are accepted by signing in, and two-factor is locked while single sign-on is on. See Signing In and Organisation
  • Insights → Topics: the Topic levels panel is now the Topic map, drawing the analysis as bands from broad themes to specific topics, each segment sized by its share of posts and coloured by its branch. A switch picks which level is labelled, clicking a segment focuses its branch, and hovering gives its sentiment score
  • Insights → Posts Explorer: a boosted post carries a rocket beside its Reach, with the paid figure in the tooltip
  • Archive → Summary no longer shows a Groups tab to an organisation without the Groups add-on; its Export dialog and CSV drop the group too
  • Settings → Team: group role changes follow the rules the previous Brolly enforced. The cog is withheld on your own rows, unaccepted invitations, deactivated memberships, Brolly staff and groups you do not own. The default group offers Owner / User, every other group Group Owner / Group Member, and only active owners count towards the last-owner guard
  • Inspectors keep the tab you were reading while the list behind them reloads. Every detail drawer slides shut with its contents still in place and resets as it opens, so nothing changes tab in front of you as it leaves
  • Every button comes from one set of styles: one purple primary in three sizes, one outlined secondary, and one rule for disabled buttons. Every control shows the same purple keyboard focus ring, every menu row highlights in purple, and the selection bar and toasts in the Archive and Protect share one purple surface
  • Top performing posts on Insights ranks by in-panel tabs instead of a dropdown; the Dominant emotions tiles colour negative emotions red and surprise and curiosity amber

Archive Summary for everyone; one sentiment split; the full account list

  • Archive → Summary is on for every organisation: the page, its account and platform inspectors, its print views and its export dialog
  • Mixed is a band of its own in every sentiment split, in the same positive → neutral → mixed → negative order and colours in the Archive inspector, the Insights inspectors and the Topics momentum race. The classifier's "ambiguous" verdict is counted with neutral and labelled Neutral & ambiguous
  • The organisation's connected accounts are read to the end. Settings → Accounts, Home's attention row and a group's drawer used to see only the first 100 accounts in larger organisations without saying anything was missing
  • Settings → Team: Owners and Admins can change a member's group role or take away their access to one group from the cog on each group row in the member drawer, after a confirmation. A group's last owner can be neither demoted nor removed
  • Home's stat tiles and the Insights inspectors draw a placeholder until their numbers land rather than a label beside an empty figure. The Archive filters panel's Platforms and accounts heading reads Sources, and gains a Groups step

Home greets you by the hour; tables share one look; Topic levels fill in

  • Home opens with Good morning, Good afternoon or Good evening before your name, by your own clock. The first-run Home and the Insights and Protect landing pages take one centred layout with a purple and pink wash across the top
  • Every table prints its headings in sentence case and a row under the pointer takes a pale purple fill. On Insights → Topics and Hashtags the Summary / Explorer switch moves into the toolbar, and the Topics term toggle becomes a Timeframe menu naming its window (last 30 days / last 90 days). The Historic Reports tab is gone
  • Insights → Topics: the Topic levels panel is live, listing each clustering cut in the selected batch with its topics and post counts
  • The thin rate bars in the Posts Explorer, Topics and Hashtags tables take the chart colour, and a post with no comments shows its placeholder level with the Versions card

Charts take their own colours

  • Every chart that colours by identity uses a palette of its own, cobalt, turquoise and gold at deliberately different weights, so no data mark wears the interface purple and a colour-blind reader can tell series apart. This covers the Insights lines and bars, the Performance and Publishing heatmaps, Topics' share comparison and the breakdown behind a Home stat tile. A post's Insights tab in the Archive draws Views and Interactions in two colours with a legend. Loading placeholders go from soft purple to grey

A new palette; Home's accounts row; Insights reports land in Exports

  • The app's accent moves from navy to purple and its second accent from pink to blue on a cooler grey. The Brolly mark keeps its pink
  • Home opens Archive at a glance with your connected accounts as avatars, with a health ring and All healthy or n need attention for Owners and Admins, in place of the full-width attention banner
  • Insights → Export: pressing Export no longer opens your browser's print dialog. Brolly prepares the report itself and the PDF lands in Exports, named for the period it covers, with the export activity card following it. The dialog states the date range and sources it will cover, Exports' Type filter offers Insights, and a refused report says why. See Insights Report
  • New export warns on its last step when the estimate is over the export service's size ceiling (5 GB by default), naming both figures and suggesting a narrower range or fewer channels. The warning also appears for an export started from a selection or a filtered search. A refused export shows the service's own explanation
  • Settings → Accounts reports a delete, hold, re-connect, enable-messages or group change the server refused, and a failed Facebook re-connect names the Page and the fix
  • On Insights the date-range and sources toolbar pins to the top as you scroll, Top performing posts trims its sort list to four, and Topics gains a Zoom tab showing a topic's finer and broader cuts
  • A tab left open across a release now recovers on its first reload instead of showing an error screen with Retry

September 2026

Dark mode contrast; the Insights landing sends a real trial request

  • In dark mode the quietest grey text is a step brighter, every primary button writes in white rather than near-black, and avatar rings, backdrops and chart dots stop reading as light-mode colours. Light mode barely moves
  • The Insights landing page an organisation without Insights sees now leads with Request free trial, which sends a real request to the Brolly team and says so when it is on its way. Get a demo still opens the calendar beside it
  • Insights → Publishing: the post-type donut colours each slice by format, so Photo keeps its colour whatever the mix

Exports follow you across the app; heatmaps read the right way round in dark mode

  • Every export you submit keeps a card in the bottom-right corner that follows you from page to page until you dismiss it, reading submitted, then preparing with a progress bar and its stage ("Rendering… 40%"), then ready with a Download button. Several at once collapse to one counted line. The Exports page stays the permanent record
  • Retry on a failed export, which never re-ran anything, now says retrying is not available yet instead of doing nothing
  • Insights → Performance and Publishing: in dark mode the day-and-time heatmaps had their intensity backwards, with the busiest hour palest. Each ramp now resolves per theme, the Sentiment heatmap and the post-type donut included
  • A trimmed Insights report fetches only the sections it prints, so leaving out Engagement and Sentiment no longer walks the whole period's posts in the background
  • Controls that had been filled near-black, such as New alert's buttons, Invite user's ticked boxes and the switches on Profile and Tags, take the Brolly purple with a real hover. The inspector's empty tabs take quieter grey artwork

Link screenshots in the inspector; unscored topics say so

  • Archive → Post Inspector: the Media tab gains Link Screenshots — Brolly's captures of the pages a post links to. They open in the lightbox and are counted and sized by the inspector's Export. The inspector's empty Media, Notes, Tags and Comments panels now carry an illustration and a short explanation
  • Insights → Post Inspector: the Account average row under Engagement rate now shows the account's real figure, so a post's rate is drawn against something. It spans all of that account's posts, not just the period you picked, and still reads "—" for an account with no measured reach
  • Insights → Topics and Hashtags: a topic, hashtag or week that no scored comment covers now draws a dashed Not scored ring instead of reading Neutral. Panels ranked from a capped list say how much of the period they cover. Views over time in the inspectors uses your organisation's days rather than UTC, so an Australian morning no longer lands a day early
  • Insights: ticking Threads in the sources picker on Publishing, Engagement, Sentiment or the Posts Explorer now says Threads is left out of those pages rather than silently widening to the whole organisation, and the exported report covers one scope across all its sections
  • Settings → Accounts: when a search or filter hides every account, the empty panel quotes the term, names the filters, and offers Clear search or Clear all filters with Connect account beside it

Insights: one failed panel no longer takes the page with it

  • A request that fails now fails only the panels drawn from it, each with a Retry, instead of replacing the whole page with an error. Readings nobody took show "—" rather than a measured-looking 0.00
  • Old links to the retired Overview page now open Performance with the date range and accounts the link was saved with. View all posts on Publishing opens the Posts Explorer on the period and accounts you were already looking at
  • Every chart has a text alternative and the pages can be worked from a keyboard; the sentiment heatmap adds red and green stripes so the two directions read without colour. The Posts Explorer loads about half a megabyte lighter

Insights: badges show direction and sense separately; two unfinished panels withdrawn

  • The vs previous badges now separate which way a figure moved from whether that is good news: a rise in % Negative on Sentiment is drawn in the unfavourable colour, and a move of 0% shows no arrow. Performance keeps its Posts Published and Net Sentiment comparisons when reach has not been collected yet
  • Escape over a Topic or Hashtag inspector with a post open closes the post first; the fullscreen sentiment chart opens the Post Inspector in front of itself
  • Withdrawn until they are finished: the Publishing and moderation panel on Publishing, and the Post Inspector's Views vs Sentiment line and inactive Export button

Empty lists explain themselves; cards on narrow windows; calmer date pickers

  • Empty lists across the app — the Archive feed, Exports' Files and Schedules, Alerts and its History, Tags and Groups — now tell "nothing here yet" from "nothing matched your search". A search that matched nothing quotes the term back and, on Tags, Groups and Alerts, offers to create it with the dialog pre-filled. The Archive feed reads No records archived yet with a Connect account button until something is captured, and Clear all filters now clears the search too. The Welcome to the Brolly beta card no longer opens on Home
  • Alerts, its History, and Exports' Files and Schedules become a list of cards on a narrow window, with a sorted by menu in place of column headings. An alert's Modify and Delete come out from behind the … menu, and History shows the matched phrase as the same keyword chip as the alert. Profile, the account inspector and the sign-in pages fit a phone
  • Exports: the wizard's size estimate now reaches GB and TB, and sorting Files by Status is gone. Modify schedule now saves the account scope (the format picker there is still unwired); a schedule whose accounts have all been disconnected reads No accounts — will not run
  • Date pickers everywhere no longer snap back to the start month when you choose another year, and the neighbouring months are one arrow away. The export wizard and the crawl start date on Settings → Accounts use the same calendar, and the crawl date offers today in your own timezone
  • Start a trial on brolly.io opens the sign-up form

Export checksums; Facebook re-connect works again

  • Exports show the SHA-256 checksum of a completed export with a Copy button, so a download can be verified rather than trusted
  • Settings → Accounts → Re-connect account works again for Facebook and Instagram; the page's current name, handle and picture come across, and message archiving and the crawl start date stay as they were
  • Settings tables (Tags, Groups, Team, Accounts) pin their first column on a narrow window, and the Activity log becomes a list of cards below 800px
  • Insights: the Post Inspector's Views tile now shows a figure; the inspector goes full-bleed on a phone, with the post as a tab where there is no room beside the tabs; Impressions now reads Views throughout Topics and Hashtags

Step through attachments; Insights fills in panel by panel

  • Archive → Inspector: a record's attachments open as one sequence with arrows, a counter and keyboard control, instead of one photo at a time. Media against a comment, in the Log and behind a gallery's +N open too
  • The sentiment face on feed cards and beside comments is green, amber and red again. Grey meant "not analysed", which the face now signals by drawing nothing
  • Insights: every page fills in panel by panel as its data arrives. Publishing, Engagement, Sentiment and the Posts Explorer now compute from up to 10,000 posts in the period rather than the first 1,000. The Post Inspector's Sentiment tab shows the Positive, Neutral and Negative figures and draws the emotion radar (withheld below five scored comments); the same on a hashtag. Hashtags → Summary gains Hashtag activity over time. Row thumbnails tell a video from a photo, the inspector shows the account's real profile picture, and the Instagram icon draws properly

Comment counts come from the archive

  • Insights: a post's Comments figure now comes from the archived comments themselves, not the platform's tally (which arrives weeks late), so a post the archive holds 66 comments for no longer reads 0. It counts distinct comments, and Posts Explorer, Topics, Hashtags, Sentiment and Engagement now agree on one count per post. Reach is unchanged
  • Narrow windows: the Topics and Hashtags tables scroll as one with the name column frozen and can be sorted from a keyboard; the Posts Explorer becomes one card per post below 900px with a Sort by control; the day-and-time heatmap folds its hours into two- or three-hour blocks instead of scrolling sideways; Top performing posts goes one, two or four across from the panel's own width
  • The Posts Explorer fetches only the data its table draws, so it appears as soon as that lands

Narrow windows: the sidebar becomes a menu; Groups withheld without the add-on

  • Below 640px the sidebar folds into a menu opened from a strip across the top. The Archive Inspector opens above the sidebar, goes full screen on a phone, and its version history becomes the first tab where there is no room beside the tabs. Filters → Timeframe → Custom is now a step inside the Filters panel with its own Reset dates and Apply dates. Controls that lose their label on a narrow toolbar show a tooltip
  • Insights → Hashtags gains an Export button, and the printed report carries a Hashtags section
  • Settings: an organisation without the Groups add-on no longer sees group controls — the Groups page, the Group columns and filters, the memberships block and the group picker on invites — since everything is already in its one group. Inviting someone or changing their role there works again. Where an organisation has several groups, Connect account can now pick which group a new account lands in
  • Insights: chart axes no longer cut the leading digit off their largest label; empty Topics panels stop drawing legends and instructions over nothing; Historic Reports says it is not built yet. Publishing volume, the sources filter on Engagement and Sentiment, and the whole Outbound links section come back; Posts Explorer rows show the post's picture; the Hashtags inspector follows the accounts you filtered to

Filter the feed to individual accounts; Insights reads your organisation's clock

  • Archive → Filters gains a Select accounts step: each platform tile reports how much of that platform the feed draws from ("3 of 8"), every account can be ticked individually, with Select all and Deselect all per platform and a search field once a platform has more than seven. A narrowed set of sources now counts on the Filters badge
  • Insights: every over-time chart, post time and the Peak posting time tile read in your organisation's timezone. Charts had been labelled a day early and the peak hour read in the viewer's zone. Moving between Publishing, Engagement, Sentiment and the Posts Explorer reuses answers for two minutes instead of refetching everything, and clicking through to a new page anywhere in Brolly starts at the top
  • Insights: Engagement and Sentiment show their data again (both had read "No posts in the selected period"); Hashtags asks for the right days and combines a whole platform with an individual account; Posts Explorer rows open the Post Inspector again and put the post in the address; the tables on Posts Explorer, Topics and Hashtags can be driven from a keyboard
  • The exported report draws Comments, Reactions and Shares as three stacked lanes and merges the two sentiment lists into one Top posts by sentiment panel
  • Settings → Integrations no longer blanks all three cards when one request drops

Insights: empty ranges say so; one vocabulary for post formats

  • Metric tiles set the trailing K, M or % one size below the number. Post type mix, Top performing posts and the top positive and negative rows say in words when the range holds no posts, and the Engagement chart and heatmap fade between measurements
  • Post formats are one vocabulary: Photo, Video, Story, Text and Other (Link is retired). Row thumbnails in the Posts Explorer show a neutral placeholder until a post's format is known; the picture is still in the Post Inspector

One tooltip everywhere; Hashtags summary rebuilt; page numbers

  • Every hover label in the app comes from one shared tooltip that follows the theme, stays on screen, wraps long text, appears on keyboard focus and closes on Esc
  • Archive → Feed: filtering by a whole platform and an individual account at the same time returns what you asked for instead of an empty feed
  • Insights → Hashtags → Summary is rebuilt on the Topics model: a Hashtag performance panel over the bubble landscape, then a ranked impact index. Every paged table in the app (Exports, Schedules, Alerts history, Topics, Hashtags, Posts Explorer, Activity log, Connections) shows a strip of page numbers instead of Previous and Next. View live appears on posts opened from anywhere in Insights. Delete is no longer offered on an export row

Topic and Hashtag inspectors; Send feedback works

  • Insights → Topics: clicking a topic opens the rebuilt Topic inspector — one column, three tabs, and a Posts tab listing every post on the topic with its image, account, comment count and sentiment. Its headline figures lead with Comments and are badged against the average across the other topics in view. Topic momentum reorders its bars to match
  • Insights → Hashtags: the Hashtag inspector is rebuilt on the same model. In both inspectors an eye on each post row opens the full Post Inspector over the panel, and the Post Inspector gains a View live link to the post on its platform
  • Insights → Engagement: Top link-driving posts moves inside Outbound links
  • Send feedback in the sidebar now files a request with the support desk, with your screenshots or PDFs attached and the page, recent screens and build gathered automatically. No page content, form values or tokens go with it

The export wizard drops its Inclusions step; Topic momentum splits by sentiment

  • Exports: the New export wizard is now four steps — Type · Scope · Dates · Output. Every export carries everything it can hold, so there is no longer a step to untick things: CSV leaves out media, and sentiment rides along only with the Insights add-on. Format sits beside the one-off or scheduled choice and opens on PDF, Scope opens on All accounts, and the name arrives as an editable suggestion. Exporting a selection, a single post or a filtered feed is one panel rather than two steps, and the Messages export opens on PDF too
  • Insights → Topics: Topic momentum bars now split into Positive, Neutral/ambiguous/mixed and Negative, counting comments rather than posts, and each bubble on Topic activity over time takes the sentiment of its own week. Both panels read in daily steps whatever the range
  • Insights → Sentiment: Post sentiment distribution draws the date range you selected instead of a fixed 28 days
  • Insights → Performance and Publishing: the day-and-time heatmaps no longer shift every cell by your offset from UTC. Engagement loses the Link clicks by platform chart; the link tiles and daily series stay

Insights: Photo cards get their icon

  • On Insights → Performance, the Photo cards in Performance by post type now show the image icon beside their name, in the printed report as well. GIF, Live and Sticker cards still show a plain square until they have icons of their own

Insights is switched on, rebuilt page by page

For organisations with the Advanced insight add-on, Insights now opens as a full module rather than the overview page:

  • Insights in the sidebar expands to Performance, Publishing, Engagement, Sentiment, Posts Explorer, Topics and Hashtags. Opening Insights lands on Performance
  • Performance is new: five headline figures for the period and accounts you pick — Posts Published, Total Reach, Interactions, Avg. Engagement and Net Sentiment — each with an up or down badge against the previous period, plus Interactions over time, the Performance by day and time grid (Posting, Engagement or Sentiment) and Performance by post type cards
  • The old Content page's three tabs are now pages of their own: Publishing (which also takes over Platform comparison and Most recent posts from the retired Overview), Engagement (now stating Reactions and Comments as figures) and Sentiment. Each has its own address, so a link opens the exact view, date range and accounts you were looking at. Saved links to the old Content page redirect to Publishing
  • Export is on every Insights page. The printable Insights report it opens now leads with Performance, covers the whole section, and prints the day-and-time grids with the value written into each cell
  • The Post Inspector opened from Publishing, Engagement or Posts Explorer draws its charts in Brolly's accent colours, so paired series are told apart by colour. The orange edit markers (v2, v3…) are unchanged
  • The upsell page no longer shows to organisations that already have the add-on. Organisations without it see the same overview page as before, and Basic insight counts as not entitled

The Insights guides cover each of the new pages.

Book a demo from the app; register interest in Protect

  • Book a call on the trial banner and on Settings → Billing, and Book a demo beneath the sign-in and sign-up forms, now open a 20-minute walkthrough booking calendar in a window over the page. Signed in, your name and email are filled in, and you are offered the Australia / New Zealand or United States calendar to suit your organisation's timezone. If the calendar cannot load — an ad blocker or a locked-down network can stop it — the window offers Open it in a new tab
  • Get a demo on the Insights overview page opens the same calendar
  • Find out more on the Protect overview page is now Register your interest: it sends your name, email and organisation to the Brolly team and confirms on the page. Only an owner or administrator can send it
  • The Contact us button on Billing is replaced by a plain support email link beside Book a call

Cyan accent, outlined buttons, tidier export estimates

  • The palette's third accent moves from gold to cyan, and selection highlights move onto it: the selected item in the sidebar and the highlight on a selected comment are now pale cyan rather than pale pink
  • The main action button on several pages — New alert, New export, Connect account, Add team member, Add group, Add tags and the Activity Log's Export — is now an outlined button that turns cyan on hover, rather than filled purple. What they do is unchanged
  • The export wizard's estimate no longer shows an estimated time, which had been derived from the file size rather than measured. For a Messages export the second figure is labelled Messages rather than Comments, which is what it always counted
  • Exporting the results of a Messages search still does not queue an export, and its dialog shows no size estimate

See Exports.

The trial banner appears for organisations on a trial

  • The Enjoying Brolly? strip across the top of the app, with View plans and Book a call, now appears for organisations that are on a trial and counts down the days remaining. It had never shown for anyone. It stays hidden when no trial expiry is recorded and when the trial has already ended, and Dismiss lasts for the current session

Help centre links

  • Help centre at the foot of the sidebar and View release notes on the beta welcome message now open this help centre. Help centre had been opening the documentation for the current Brolly, and the release-notes button had pointed at a placeholder page

Exports: schedules, exports from anywhere, accurate estimates

  • Scheduled exports now save, appear in the Schedules tab, and can be renamed, re-timed or deleted
  • Export results on Archive → Feed and the Export button on a Messages conversation now create real exports rather than failing
  • The wizard's estimated size is measured rather than approximated, and the Review step shows the number of accounts you actually picked (it had read "0 accounts" when an export was narrowed to specific accounts)
  • The Files list filters, sorts and pages across your whole export history, not just the rows already on screen
  • The Schedules tab's New export opens already set to a scheduled export
  • Not yet working: exporting the results of a Messages search

See Exports.

Insights and Protect overviews; one look for the inspector

  • Insights and Protect show a proper overview page — what each module does, in four points — instead of an "in development" placeholder. Their Get a demo and Find out more buttons are not yet active
  • The record Inspector looks the same wherever it opens, with larger section headings
  • In Archive → Messages, the open conversation is highlighted in pink rather than a barely different grey, and sidebar hover states are clearer

New look, redesigned sign-in, first-run Home

  • The app's accent colour is now midnight navy with brand pink as the secondary — buttons, selected states, sidebar markers and charts all change together
  • The sign-in, register, verify, reset-password, invitation and trial-expired screens are redesigned and now fill a phone screen instead of a narrow column
  • Home shows a first-run screen when nothing is connected yet: the seven platforms Brolly archives, each tile opening the connect flow
  • A Send feedback button appears at the foot of the sidebar
  • On Archive → Feed, the sentiment face now appears on post cards as well as comments. On a post it reports the sentiment of the conversation the post drew (hover reads Conversation sentiment). Comments scored close to neutral now read as neutral. The face is shown for organisations with Insights

See Navigating Brolly and Home.

Welcome to the beta

  • A Welcome to the Brolly beta message opens on Home on your first visit after signing in, with a link to the release notes
  • Insights charts move onto the brand palette, and figures under 10,000 are shown in full ("9,482", not "9.5K")

August 2026

Messages: search by sender, full threads, correct dates

  • Search conversations by sender — a scope dropdown and a typeahead for names, matching the Feed. Searches run when you press Enter
  • Older messages now load in long conversations; threads had been silently capped at the newest 50
  • The date filter and Date sort work correctly: dates resolve in your organisation's timezone and sorting covers the whole archive, not just the loaded page
  • The Msgs count is filled in from Brolly's archive where the platform never supplied one
  • The inbox loads roughly nine times faster

See Archive Messages.

July 2026

Real storage figures on Home

  • The Storage tile on Home shows your actual archived data size, with a Video / Images / Data breakdown when you click it

Exports

  • Exports is available: choose what to include (feed posts and comments, direct messages, insights or the activity log), pick CSV, JSON, PDF or HTML, review the estimated size and record counts, and download the file once it is ready

Alerts show their history

  • The alert channel picker lists every channel you are permitted to see, including channels with no archived data yet
  • The Alerts table shows Created, Triggers and Last triggered for each alert

See Alerts.

June 2026

Connect Facebook Pages; team invitations

  • Connect Facebook Pages directly from Settings → Accounts: sign in with Facebook, pick which of your Pages to connect, switch message archiving on or off per Page, and optionally set a start date to backfill historical posts and comments. Pages available to connect are listed first, already-connected Pages are marked, and expired or on-hold Pages can be re-connected through the same flow
  • Team invitations apply the role you chose to each invitation, and invitations can be re-sent

See Connecting Your First Account and Managing Team Members.

Tags and Integrations

  • Tags: renaming and deleting a tag now saves (it previously had no effect)
  • Integrations: OpenText Content Manager and the Brolly API show their real status and access keys; you can register interest, regenerate an API key, and choose which accounts the Brolly API may read (feed and/or messages)

See Tags and Integrations.

Organisation and Profile settings

  • Organisation: the organisation name, default timezone and two-factor enforcement now save
  • Profile: update your own name and email (you stay signed in after changing your email) and change your password, which asks for your current password first

See Organisation.

Roles and permissions

  • Settings sections are shown according to your role: Owners and Admins see everything, Group Owners see Team and the Activity Log for their own groups only, and Members see what they need
  • Insights, Content Manager and Protect appear only for organisations that have them

See Managing Groups.

A complete log for every post

  • The Post Inspector's Log tab now lists every version of a post, every edited, deleted or hidden comment, and replies at any depth. It had only shown the first page of direct comments

See Viewing a Record.

May 2026

Archive feed sorting and filters

  • Sort by date, relevance or number of comments
  • Our content / Public / All content filter, plus platform and boosted-post filters
  • Replies to comments load and display correctly in the Inspector

Archive polish

  • Archive addresses are shareable and refresh-safe — your search and filters are kept in the URL, so a link opens the same view for a colleague
  • Notes on a record save instantly and keep the correct timestamp after a refresh
  • Nested replies expand on demand, and a comment's surrounding context shows the right sibling comments
  • Records that were hidden or unhidden on the platform are labelled Hidden and Unhidden
  • Messages paginate, and the platform filter in Messages and the public-activity filter in the Feed apply correctly
